Naouel, an esteemed Assistant Professor in Hepato-Gastroenterology
from Algeria, representing the University Hospital of Oran (CHU Oran)
and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oran 1, as a distinguished

presentation, Dr. Naouel will share a detailed clinical analysis of hepatobiliary
manifestations in patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Drawing
from hospital-based case series data, she explores patterns, diagnostic

About Dr. Samsar Naouel
Dr. Samsar Naouel has been serving as an Assistant
Professor in Hepato-Gastroenterology since 2021 at CHU Oran, one
of Algeria’s leading academic and clinical institutions. Her role extends
across clinical practice, research, and medical education, positioning
her among the emerging voices transforming the field of gastroenterology in
North Africa.
She is currently pursuing her doctoral thesis on
Crohn’s disease, contributing novel research to the understanding of
this complex inflammatory condition within the regional population. Her
academic and clinical work is conducted within the Hepato-Gastroenterology
department of CHU Oran, where she collaborates with multidisciplinary teams
to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based care.
As a lecturer at the University of Oran 1, she plays an essential role in
guiding medical students and trainees, fostering a culture of inquiry,
compassion, and scientific excellence.
